Faisal Mushtaq
An investor, entrepreneur, board member, and former Fortune 500 CTO with more than 25 years of experience building and scaling technology companies. He currently serves as Founder & CEO of TechCon Global, a platform connecting entrepreneurs, investors, and innovation leaders worldwide. Previously, he was Chief Technology Officer at Sleep Number, where he led the company’s transformation into a health and wellness technology leader, helping drive more than $2 billion in revenue growth.
He has held executive leadership roles at GlobalLogic, Cisco, PLUMgrid, Ortiva Wireless, and Wichorus, participating in multiple successful acquisitions by Hitachi, VMware, Allot Communications, Tellabs, and others. Faisal has extensive experience in AI, cloud infrastructure, digital health, semiconductors, enterprise software, networking, and telecommunications. As an active angel investor, he is a member of NuFund Venture Group, Interlock Capital, Reflect Ventures, and MVP Ventures.
His investment philosophy is shaped by decades of operating experience spanning fundraising, product-market fit, scaling global teams, strategic partnerships, M&A, and board governance. Faisal holds an MBA from Santa Clara University and an MSEE from Purdue University, is a named inventor on multiple patents, and has authored several books on AI, innovation, and technology leadership.
